Privacy — Android test release
This app connects to babyai.co.uk over HTTPS. It introduces no advertising or analytics SDK. Your existing BABYAI account, chat messages, uploaded files, generated media, profile and usage information are processed by the BABYAI service to provide its features. Existing website processing and retention also apply.
Session cookies and website data are held in the app’s private storage to keep you signed in. File access uses Android’s picker, limited to files you choose. Downloaded files are saved where you select. Microphone and camera permissions are requested when a BABYAI media feature needs them. Voice dictation uses your phone’s speech service (which may use its online provider). Camera photos are saved in Pictures/BABYAI and are attached for review. Location is requested only when you choose to use it; the app does not request background location. The current-location menu adds coordinates to a message draft; they are sent to BABYAI only when you tap Send. Contacts, messages and unrestricted storage access are not requested.
AI content reports send only the text you enter and app version to BABYAI. Reports are retained for up to 90 days for investigation. Do not include passwords or unnecessary personal details. Hosting/security logs may contain connection information. Internet research and AI services can involve external providers; this app does not promise exclusively local processing.
To ask about access, correction or deletion of your data, contact admin@babyai.co.uk. We may verify account ownership. Deleting the app does not delete your server account or files. See the account deletion page for instructions. Some security, backup or legal records may require separate retention.
This notice covers the direct testing release. Store publication and its final legal disclosures remain pending.
When you choose Check for updates, the app retrieves public release details from BABYAI. If you approve a download, it stores the update temporarily in private app cache and checks its hash, package and signing certificate. Android asks you to permit installation and approve the update. No password, chat content or account data is sent with update checks.

Version 1.0.6 requests satellite GPS first when you share location. A Wi-Fi/mobile-network fix is used only if you explicitly choose the approximate fallback. Shared coordinates include source, accuracy and capture time, and are added to your draft for review before Send. There is no background tracking. Previously granted Android permissions remain controlled by your phone.
